Nurse Therapists (f) We have a team of CBT Therapists led by Sarah Bateup, who provide a Cognitive Behavioural Treatment service, for a variety of psychological and emotional difficulties for our patients, on referral by your Doctor. |
Physiotherapy (f) Our qualified Physiotherapists, Ken Toward, Jess Hawken, and Hayley Matthews provide an additional service of Physiotherapy in the surgery on referral by your Doctor. Many conditions seen in General Practice are suitable for physiotherapy in the surgery, particularly acute conditions. As this service is a limited funded service, long term physiotherapy is not appropriate. Patients will only receive up to a maximum of 3 or 4 treatments. Unfortunately this service is not available to patients recommended for physiotherapy by the hospital consultants or outpatients, which is provided by hospital physiotherapists and funded via the hospital.
If you have an implant fitted, ie. a cardiac pacemaker or drug infusion pump, or neuro-stimulator, please inform the physiotherapist before you start your treatment. |
